reunited libertines play “music when the lights go out”
one of my favorite bands, the libertines, announced a few reunion gigs. while i’m not sure i’ll make it to the uk, i’m loving the fact that they performed one of my favorite songs, albeit sloppily, at the press conference/gig in a london pub.
very much in love with the new video for yeasayer’s “o.n.e.” beautiful visual to go with a beautiful song.
video trailer for green day’s american idiot: the musical [via].
just watched paris je t’aime, a collection of short films by various directors taking place in paris. this one was one of my favorites.
also: i miss paris. this is the longest time i’ve spent away from that city in eight years.
“destino” - salvidore dali x walt disney [via]
i saw bits of this at an exhibit at the museum of modern art last year. dali had story boarded a short film for disney which was never completed, and years later animators used the images to put the short together.
forgive my being cheezy for a moment, just saw this episode of how i met your mother, and this was pretty incredible.
